I love this idea, and would love to do it. Unfortunately, back
when ifttt was new, I asked about the possibility and they said
they weren't excepting third party actions at that time. I'm pretty
sure the situation hasn't changed, but I'll check.
Whenever I can, I'd like to add this functionality.
I would have thought all 'channels' (as IFTTT call them) are 3rd parties as
I doubt they own blogger, pocket, etc? It might be worth trying again.
Infact, they haven't got any other services like yours on there, or
Chrome2phone etc. so hopefully!
I'd also puzzled how they make money as there's no advertising etc?

I apologise, I was unclear. Their channels are 3rd party services, but the connection (the code IFTTT runs to connect to those services) is all IFTTT's code, using the 3rd party's public API. IFTTT is still not accepting submission of channels, and is doing it all in house.
As to how they make money, I can't speculate, as I'm not associated in any way with their team. If I remember correctly, however, they are a VC-backed operation.
