Using 2cloud in 2 versions of Chrome

Hi all,

My missus logs in to Chrome and changes the user to her ID when using the computer. Her username has a different set of extensions to my login (separate browser windows are launched).

Can I send links to either her 2cloud or mine from an Android device? How would 2cloud specify?

    Hi Leo,

Absolutely! This is how it's intended to work.

To do this, just install 2cloud in her extensions, too. When setting it up, make sure you log in with the same Google account as your 2cloud is set up on. When it asks for a device name, give it a name like "Missus" or something that identifies it as hers- it doesn't matter what, it just needs to be different from yours.

Finally, when sending links, just type in the name of the device you want to send to under "Device", and the link will be sent only to that device.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks Paddy,

Would it be possible for her to send links from her Android to either my Chrome session or hers, and also vice versa?

    Hi Leo,

All you need to do is make sure that the account logged into both Chrome sessions is the same Google account, and that that Google account is logged in on Android. Give each Chrome session a distinct name, then enter that name when sending a link. Should work just fine.

    Hope that helps!
